Andrew was born in England and lived in South Africa for two years before relocating to Northern California in 1991. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, attended John F. Kennedy University Law School and completed internships with the Contra Costa County Superior Court.
Andrew has dedicated his career to civil rights law, and he has protected the rights of individuals throughout Los Angeles County in various ways since he became an attorney in 2004. Even before becoming a lawyer, Andrew worked as a paralegal at preeminent litigation firms to prepare for the challenges ahead. Since becoming a lawyer, Andrew has touched upon nearly every facet of consumer rights law, including employment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, workplace harassment, disability rights, women’s rights in the workplace and wrongful foreclosure. Andrew was published in the appellate case of In Re Conservatorship of Whitely (2007) 155 Cal.App.4th 1447 on behalf of the Association of Regional Center Agencies for the Developmentally Disabled, and he has since litigated against giants like Ferrari, Mattel Toys, Lifeguard Licensing, Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank. Andrew has also assisted small and developing businesses with such issues as shareholder disputes, franchise and licensing, contract negotiation, corporate formation, contractors’ rights in licensure proceedings and trademark registration and litigation.
Andrew is not afraid of a challenge: On any given day, Andrew is arguing in court, meeting with clients, preparing lawsuits and motions, attending depositions, propounding or responding to discovery or negotiating settlements. Andrew has centered his practice on his clients and has brought his work ethic and dedication to the forefront of our law firm. He takes the time necessary to listen to his clients, explain the law and their options, and helps clients to reach the decision that is right for their case.
Andrew is admitted to the Superior Courts throughout California, the Federal District Courts in northern and central California, and is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. On his days off, Andrew is a scratch golfer, but he also enjoys surfing and hiking.
